Underage 02 impoundment — Nebraska Permit Test

Underage 02 impoundment on the Nebraska permit test — 4 rules, each with the reason behind it and a question on it while it is fresh.

The rules

For a .02% conviction of a driver 20 or younger, the court impounds the license for 30 days and the conviction stays on the driving record for 90 days.

A young driver with even a little alcohol reacts more slowly, and a friend in the car may pay for it.

For a conviction of .02% the license will be impounded by the court for 30 days and will become part of the driving record for 90 days.

Nebraska Driver’s Manual, p.20

A .02% underage conviction is deleted from the driving record after 90 days.

A young driver who drinks even a little reacts late, and a stopped car or a child ahead gets hit.

After 90 days the conviction will be deleted from the driving record.

Nebraska Driver’s Manual, p.20

For an underage refusal conviction, the court impounds the license for 90 days and the conviction stays on the record for 120 days.

Refusing the test should never be the smart choice, or every young drinking driver would refuse.

If the conviction is for an underage refusal, the court will impound the license for 90 days and it will become part of the driving record for 120 days.

Nebraska Driver’s Manual, p.20

An underage driver convicted of driving during the impoundment has the license revoked for 6 months by the court.

A teen who drives anyway after the court takes their license is likely to break other rules on the road.

Any underage driver that is convicted of driving during the impoundment will have their license revoked for six months by the court.

On the test

For how long does the court impound the license of an underage driver after an underage drinking-and-driving conviction?

30 days. A young driver with even a little alcohol reacts more slowly, and a friend in the car may pay for it. Nebraska Driver’s Manual, p.20: “For a conviction of .02% the license will be impounded by the court for 30 days and will become part of the driving record for 90 days.”

How this works

Most practice tests hand you a bank of questions and leave the manual somewhere else. This one puts them together.

You read one law and the reason behind it, then answer a question on that law while it is still fresh. Get it right and you move on; get it wrong and you have found the gap while it is cheap to fix, not on the morning of the exam.

Learning one rule at a time, and proving it immediately, is what turns a manual you skimmed into something you actually know — and it makes studying feel like getting somewhere rather than like waiting to find out.

What it costs

  • One payment, once — not a subscription. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel, for an exam you sit one time.
  • Free to start: a 10-question test and the first section of cards. No sign-up and no account.
  • Paying opens the rest of the cards, unlimited full-length practice tests, and retests built from exactly the questions you got wrong.
  • Every level up to Prepared — 3 tests passed in a row.
  • Do the work, fail the real exam, and we refund you.
