The rules
Slow moving vehicles must display a special triangular emblem to warn approaching drivers.

Heavy trucks typically weigh 80,000 pounds, are longer and heavier than a car, and need much more room to turn.

After passing a truck in dry conditions, give two seconds before merging back to the right; in wet conditions give at least four to six seconds of space.
Pulling in early puts your back bumper where the driver cannot see it at all.

Never slam on your brakes in front of a truck, never cut a truck off to reach your exit, never tailgate one, and never pass one on the right during a turn.
A truck cannot stop or swerve the way a car can, so every one of those leaves it no way out.
