Implied consent — Wyoming Permit Test
Implied consent on the Wyoming permit test — 3 rules, each with the reason behind it and a question on it while it is fresh.
The rules
Under Wyoming's Implied Consent law, drivers are deemed to have given their consent to BAC tests whenever driving on a public street or highway.
Agreeing ahead of time stops a drinking driver from avoiding the test that would prove it.
Under the Implied Consent law, drivers are deemed to have given their consent to such tests whenever driving on a public street or highway.
If you refuse a required BAC test, law enforcement may obtain a warrant to require the test to be given by an approved tester.
Refusing does not hide the evidence; a judge can still order the test.
If you REFUSE to take the required test or tests, law enforcement may obtain a warrant to require the test or tests to be administered by an approved tester.
You may be convicted of DWUI with a BAC of 0.05 percent and other supporting evidence, not only at 0.08 percent or more.
Some drivers are badly impaired below 0.08, and the law does not let them off when the evidence shows it.
And while a BAC of 0.08 percent or more may result in a conviction, you may also be convicted of DWUI with a BAC of 0.05 percent and other supporting evidence.
On the test
Under the Implied Consent law, when are you deemed to have agreed to a BAC test?
Whenever you drive on a public road. Agreeing ahead of time stops a drinking driver from avoiding the test that would prove it. Wyoming Rules of the Road Driver License Manual, p.37: “Under the Implied Consent law, drivers are deemed to have given their consent to such tests whenever driving on a public street or highway.”
How this works
Most practice tests hand you a bank of questions and leave the manual somewhere else. This one puts them together.
You read one law and the reason behind it, then answer a question on that law while it is still fresh. Get it right and you move on; get it wrong and you have found the gap while it is cheap to fix, not on the morning of the exam.
Learning one rule at a time, and proving it immediately, is what turns a manual you skimmed into something you actually know — and it makes studying feel like getting somewhere rather than like waiting to find out.
What it costs
- One payment, once — not a subscription. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel, for an exam you sit one time.
- Free to start: a 10-question test and the first section of cards. No sign-up and no account.
- Paying opens the rest of the cards, unlimited full-length practice tests, and retests built from exactly the questions you got wrong.
- Every level up to Prepared — 3 tests passed in a row.
- Do the work, fail the real exam, and we refund you.
