Uninsured accident suspension — Wyoming Permit Test

Uninsured accident suspension on the Wyoming permit test — 3 rules, each with the reason behind it and a question on it while it is fresh.

The rules

An Uninsured Accident Suspension results when the driver's insurance cannot be verified at the time of the crash.

If no insurance can be shown, the people hurt in the crash may never be paid for their damage.

This is a result of the driver's insurance not being verifiable at the time of the crash.

Wyoming Rules of the Road Driver License Manual, p.26

An uninsured driver can meet the Uninsured Accident Suspension requirement by submitting a notarized release from the other party stating they are not holding the driver liable or that restitution was made.

The rule is about making the other party whole, so their own signed release settles it.

Submit a notarized release from the other party(s) involved in the crash stating they are not holding you liable for their damages and/or injuries or that you have made restitution to them;

Wyoming Rules of the Road Driver License Manual, p.26

A driver suspended after an uninsured accident must also pay the reinstatement fee and file an SR-22.

Proof of insurance going forward makes sure the next crash will not leave someone unpaid again.

Should you be suspended, you will be required to pay the reinstatement fee and file an SR-22 in addition to one of the above requirements.

On the test

What triggers an Uninsured Accident Suspension?

Unverifiable insurance at a crash. If no insurance can be shown, the people hurt in the crash may never be paid for their damage. Wyoming Rules of the Road Driver License Manual, p.26: “This is a result of the driver's insurance not being verifiable at the time of the crash.”

How this works

Most practice tests hand you a bank of questions and leave the manual somewhere else. This one puts them together.

You read one law and the reason behind it, then answer a question on that law while it is still fresh. Get it right and you move on; get it wrong and you have found the gap while it is cheap to fix, not on the morning of the exam.

Learning one rule at a time, and proving it immediately, is what turns a manual you skimmed into something you actually know — and it makes studying feel like getting somewhere rather than like waiting to find out.

What it costs

  • One payment, once — not a subscription. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel, for an exam you sit one time.
  • Free to start: a 10-question test and the first section of cards. No sign-up and no account.
  • Paying opens the rest of the cards, unlimited full-length practice tests, and retests built from exactly the questions you got wrong.
  • Every level up to Prepared — 3 tests passed in a row.
  • Do the work, fail the real exam, and we refund you.
