Wyoming driving record — Wyoming Permit Test
Wyoming driving record on the Wyoming permit test — 4 rules, each with the reason behind it and a question on it while it is fresh.
The rules
WYDOT keeps a computerized driving record of every Wyoming driver, listing all convictions and the adverse actions that result from them.
Your record follows you, so every ticket counts toward later suspensions and what you pay to insure a car.
It contains a record of all convictions, motor vehicle convictions, and adverse actions as a result of these convictions.
A legal parent or guardian can get a copy of a child's Wyoming driver record if the child is a minor under 18.
Parents share responsibility for a teen driver, so they are allowed to see how that teen is driving.
A legal parent or guardian can obtain a copy of a child’s driver record, if the child is a minor under the age of 18 years.
To get another person's Wyoming driver record, you must present the examiner a written release from that person.
A driving record is private, so the person it belongs to decides who gets to see it.
It is possible to obtain another’s driver record provided a written release is presented to the examiner from the person whose driver record is being released.
Federal law bars WYDOT from giving drivers' personal information to people or businesses for surveys, marketing and solicitations.
Your photo, phone number and medical details belong to you, not to companies that want to sell you something.
The Federal Driver’s Privacy Protection Act prohibits WYDOT from providing personal information to individuals and businesses for the purposes of surveys, marketing and solicitations.
On the test
What does WYDOT's driving record for each driver contain?
Convictions and resulting adverse actions. Your record follows you, so every ticket counts toward later suspensions and what you pay to insure a car. Wyoming Rules of the Road Driver License Manual, p.17: “It contains a record of all convictions, motor vehicle convictions, and adverse actions as a result of these convictions.”
How this works
Most practice tests hand you a bank of questions and leave the manual somewhere else. This one puts them together.
You read one law and the reason behind it, then answer a question on that law while it is still fresh. Get it right and you move on; get it wrong and you have found the gap while it is cheap to fix, not on the morning of the exam.
Learning one rule at a time, and proving it immediately, is what turns a manual you skimmed into something you actually know — and it makes studying feel like getting somewhere rather than like waiting to find out.
What it costs
- One payment, once — not a subscription. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel, for an exam you sit one time.
- Free to start: a 10-question test and the first section of cards. No sign-up and no account.
- Paying opens the rest of the cards, unlimited full-length practice tests, and retests built from exactly the questions you got wrong.
- Every level up to Prepared — 3 tests passed in a row.
- Do the work, fail the real exam, and we refund you.
